week 3: leadership lessons
one lesson
one of my friends asked me what are the 3 leadership lessons that I have learnt?
after giving it a hard thought, here the 3 lessons from my recent professional experience:
empathy - we need to understand what the other person is trying to say, even to the extent of discussing issues they face at home and resolving them, as there is a direct correlation with work performance.
collective work - you won’t achieve great things in life alone. You need a team to work alongside you. For example, if you want to make money, you cannot do it alone; you need to create opportunities for yourself and others.
taking risks - you need to take bets in life and have the guts to take risks to achieve something significant.
these were my 3 lessons.
what 3 leadership lessons you have learned? i would love to hear from you guys as well.

young professionals often have unrealistic expectations influenced by social media, believing in quick riches and minimal work. The reality of hard work, long hours, and gradual success is emphasized, debunking myths of easy funding and instant success.
